Jake Force
All Sports, All the Time

Jake Force, a native of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, grew up in the golden age of Boston sports, in which the Red Sox won four World Series, the Patriots won six Super Bowls and the Bruins brought home the Stanley Cup. He admits he’s forever spoiled by this “embarrassment” of sports riches. Jake’s lifelong dream has been to work in sports media, and he’s been working toward that goal since Grade 7 when he was asked by his middle school principal to announce a week-long basketball tournament. After it was finished, his principal gave him a check along with a note that said, “I wanted to be the first to pay you for what you’re going to do for a living.” 

Jake is a cum laude graduate of Curry College in Milton, MA, with a bachelor’s degree in communications, and earned his master’s of arts in Journalism at Boston University in December 2022. Jake recently moved to Rhinelander, WI and is a reporter at WJFW. Click here to read Jake’s bio for WJFW.
